Mental Health Awareness

Mental Health Aware is a fantastic five-hour introductory course, designed to increase mental health awareness, as well as improve your understanding of how to look after your own wellbeing. 

Whether delivered via Zoom or in-person, numbers are protected at 25 people per course, so that we can keep you safe and supported while you learn.

This course certifies you as 'Mental Health Aware', giving you:

• An understanding of mental health and how to promote positive mental health
• An introduction to some common mental health issues and associated warning signs
• An introduction to looking after your own mental health and wellbeing
• Guidance on how to support someone experiencing emotional distress

By the end of this course, you will:

• Have practical tools for looking after your own mental health and wellbeing
• Have gained confidence in supporting those experiencing emotional distress
• Have an informative course manual to facilitate continued self-study
• Receive a 'Mental Health Aware' certificate
• Receive a 'Silver Safe Venue' certificate

• Club Welfare Officers looking to increase their voice, knowledge and support in Clubs.
• Managers with very limited time who want to gain an awareness of poor mental health
• Staff of all levels who want to build their awareness around poor mental health
• Volunteers wanting to improve their awareness of supporting workplace wellbeing
